About Us

Hey there! I'm Samantha (or Sam) and I'm the one-woman show behind Sultriscent Soapcrafts. During the shut down in 2020, while stuck indoors and working from home, I (like many others) turned to new creative outlets to keep my sanity. This is when my love for soap crafting took root. I started out with making melt and pour soaps, but after conducting all the necessary research, I soon gained the confidence and courage to try making my first batch of cold process soap. I've never looked back.

I have a bachelor's degree in Marine Science and have always had an affinity for chemistry. I found the entire process of turning water and oils into soap absolutely fascinating! Now, I want to take all the things I've learned and combine it with my other passions to bring you soaps and skin care products that are great for your body, but also have a little flare of fun in them.

I love to read, listen to music, and play with my cats. I'm a certified scuba diver and love going to the beach. I sing in my car and dance in my kitchen (but rarely in front of other people!) and I try to live my life to the fullest. I'm grateful to my family and friends that are supporting me on my small business journey; and I'm so thankful to YOU for taking an interest in my products.
